We are looking for Paediatric Homecare Assistants in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham

Type of role: Weekly Monday to Sunday with a minimum commitment of two (x2) shifts per week ongoing.

Requirements:

• Seizure / Management (Essential)
• PEG Management (Desirable)
• Ventilation care experience (Desirable)
• Driver (Desirable)
• Ensure care plans and other information are followed and any changes are escalated to clinical leads efficiently and safely
• Using complex care equipment and carrying out complex care procedures
• Caring for patients within their own home and building a rapport with family members to support

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare professionals with patient care tasks
• Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
• Help patients with personal hygiene, including bathing and dressing
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized healthcare environment
• Follow all infection control protocols and maintain a safe working environment
