We recently supported an adult living with long-term tracheostomy requirements and epilepsy. Although fully mobile, verbal, and with full mental capacity, he required specialist assistance to maintain a safe airway, manage seizures, and reduce the risks associated with respiratory compromise.

Specialist Airway and Epilepsy Management
Structured tracheostomy care was implemented, including routine equipment checks, secretion management, suction protocols, and clear emergency procedures. This proactive management significantly reduced the risk of complications and unplanned hospital admissions.
