Complex Care Assistant

Job Details

We are seeking a compassionate Health Care Assistant - HCA , to provide essential assistance and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in various care settings such as assisted living, nursing homes, or home care.

Location: Bexhill

Shifts: 8am - 8pm/8pm - 8am

Salary: £14ph -£16ph + accrued holiday pay

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily tasks including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation
• Administer medication following prescribed schedules
• Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals under your care
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organised environment

Skills

• Experience in patient care, hospice care, or childcare is advantageous
• Proficient in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Strong communication skills and a caring demeanour are essential for this role
• Experience in Stoma and Gastric Drainage Bag
• Being a driver is essential
